Adding the right applications to your business can streamline operations, create efficient processes, and save you time and money.  But where to start?  There are 1,000’s of applications out there, many solving the same or similar issues.  Each month, we research, trial, and review dozens of applications; constantly searching for the ideal solutions for our clients.  We have an internal rule that any application we recommend must solve at least three problems.  

Each month, members of the MATAX team pick their favorite of the month.  Here are the selections for January 2021.

CollBox Accounts Receivable Collections

CollBox - If chasing delinquent or slow-paying accounts is a pain point for your client, CollBox is a cost-effective and streamlined solution for collections without having to hire an internal resource or doing it themselves.  This is also a great value-add service for Accountants to provide their clients.

  • The debt collection process is automated by connecting to your cloud accounting software, identifying delinquent accounts, and instantly pairing that debt with the best collection agency.

  • Accountants can monitor all of their clients’ Accounts Receivables through the CollBox AR dashboard.

Shogo eCommerce and POS accounting integration

Shogo is an integration between your accounting platform and POS system that automatically posts sales data daily into your accounting system. It primarily integrates with POS systems in the food service industry such as Toast, Revel, and Shopkeep. Shogo can benefit your accounting and internal processes in a number of ways:
